Vroom vroom!

Aiden has been vrooming for a while, but today, we were reading and I was making the truck sounds and on each page, he mimicked me.  It was a very consistent this time, which made me take note and smile.  On one page, there is even an ice cream truck and I smacked my lips.  He did the same.  So precious!

Aiden - 12 months

Aiden is 12 months!

For some time now, he has been making a scrunchy face and I just love it.  He will breathe heavily in and out of his nose when he does it too.  So funny!

Aiden is my incredibly social child.  He wants to know what people are doing and be near them (especially if that person is his brother!).

He can push a push toy, but he is much more content to crawl (one leg up, one down) and is quite capable of getting where he needs to be. He is an explorer and observant.  He easily found the cookie location at Gramma Janet and Grandpa Dude's house, and slipped his little hand right on in!

He is also a climber.  And proceeded to climb up the chair, and onto the piano at our house!

Happy 1st Birthday, Aiden!

On Aiden's actual birthday, we had a family party for him.  We visited, played, and enjoyed heavy appetizers, followed by cake and the Amy's ice cream tradition.  Aiden enjoyed it too!

Playtime
Food!
Singing (and wanting to touch the pretty light!)
Hesitant at first.
Enjoying the spoon more than the cold ice cream.
Opening presents (likes the tissue paper better than the gift inside the bag :)
Opening presents with help from big brother and cousin.
