1980 is the year Lindsay was born, but is also the year Mount St. Helens volcano erupted violently, creating damage and chaos, while also expanding the information about eruptions available to scientists.
On the recommendation of our friends, Ashley and Gooch in Seattle, we decided to add in a visit to this monstrous explosive mountain.
A walk around, an observance of pictures, and a reading of survivor stories showed us volcanic power.
