Change of Schedule

We wanted to update our schedule for the year, in the event your path crosses ours or our path crosses yours.

We have learned that the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu have been closed by the Peruvian government, so we are no longer able to keep our reservations to visit. Of course, we are disappointed, but we will still be able to visit beautiful Cusco and participate in an alternative hike.

We have also learned that neither of us received positions on the fall 2010 voyage of Semester at Sea. This means that our fall travel is up in the air, but we are looking to travel to India and China for some time during the fall. Please email us if you will be in either location, so that we might meet up.

We have applied for the Spring 2011 voyage of Semester at Sea, which would extend our ``year´´ of travel. This means that we may travel until May 2011, or we may keep our end time frame of December 2010. We will post as soon as we have any additional information.

Tomorrow (Sunday), we head to El Oriente in Ecuador, then Peru on Thursday for one week, then to Costa Rica. Thus, we are not sure how much internet we will have from here on out, but we will respond to emails, and post on the blog as often as possible (with pictures!).
